Elevated family support through a $1 billion investment framework in high quality universal childcare
Expanded affordable housing and supported Habitat for Humanity's efforts with capital outlay
Passed funding to expand food security programs

Investing In Education

Provided the framework for New Mexico to have the strongest literacy, mathematics, and special education programs
Sponsored the Protection of Hispanic Education Act to improve student educational outcomes
Updated requirements for distance learning to ensure all students receive a quality education
Passed the School Employee Insurance Program to protect our hard-working teachers with relief from rising health insurance costs

Expanding Access To Health Care

Strengthened Healthcare Affordability Fund to cover more people and lower costs for patients
Passed interstate doctors and social worker compacts
Supported a student loan repayment program to keep more doctors in New Mexico.
Passed legislation to double the size of the UNM Medical School and increase pay for medical residents
Reformed medical malpractice laws to recruit and retain healthcare providers, while continuing to protect patient safety
Helped pass a $1 billion Behavioral Health Trust Fund to help those in the most need.
